Real-Life Problem

1

What Is the Problem?

Walking is too slow, so we use drones to make sure the plants are healthy and don’t die. Traditional farming methods can’t cover large areas fast enough to catch disease before it spreads.
2

Where Does It Happen?

It happens on farms — large agricultural fields where thousands of plants need to be regularly monitored for health, hydration, and disease.
3

Who or What Is Affected?

  • Plants can get sick or die from undetected disease
  • Farmers lose income when crops fail
  • Consumers eating infected plants may also be affected

Our Solution

1

Our Drone

The Farm Drone flies around fields and sprays medicine for crops while showing real-time data to farmers — whether plants are healthy, need watering, or require treatment.
2

What Does It Do?

It sprays medicine on the crops to keep bugs away and keep crops healthy. It also scans and reports plant health automatically, reducing manual labor.
3

How Does It Work?

  1. Step 1. The drone flies over the field
  2. Step 2. Scans for unhealthy crops and sends live data to the farmer
  3. Step 3. Releases medicine onto the crops to remove bugs or heal the plant

Result

Healthier crops, less manual walking, and farmers get live data to act fast before plants die.

Key labeled components of the Farm Drone:

SensorsREAL PART

Helps the drone sense plants — detecting moisture levels, temperature, and crop health signals from above the field.

RotorsREAL PART

Helps the drone fly — four spinning rotors lift the drone into the air and control its direction and speed.

CameraREAL PART

Helps the drone see — a high-resolution camera captures images of crops and streams video to the farmer's device.

Real Drone Part — Multispectral Sensor:

Sequoia Multispectral UAS Sensor

This real sensor captures Red, Green, Near Infrared, and RGB images simultaneously — giving the drone the ability to detect plant health that the human eye can’t see.

How It Helps

1

How Does the Drone Help?

It helps farmers by making their work more efficient. Instead of walking every row of a large field, the drone scans everything in minutes and reports back with data.
2

How Does the Invented Feature Help?

The medicine-spraying feature releases treatment directly onto plants to help them recover from bugs or certain illnesses — targeting only the affected areas to minimise waste.
3

Why Is Our Drone Useful?

It makes farmers work more efficiently and gives people a safer, better life by ensuring food is grown healthily and free from harmful pests and disease.

How he made it

  • Sensors
  • Rotors
  • Camera
  1. Picked a problem worth solving

crops lost to pests and disease that a farmer cannot spot from the ground in time

  2. Specified the machine, part by part

Every part justified by its job — then he invented the medicine-spraying feature.

  3. Had AI draw it, then built the site
